Covid-19 Update: Reopened! Here is What You Need to Know

Summertime

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE HAVE RECENTLY UPDATED SOME INFORMATION IN THIS POST AS OF OCTOBER 19, 2020

We re-opened on Tuesday June 16, 2020, and we have the following information to share with you.

While many things have changed in our “New Normal”, one thing has remained the same: Our commitment to the health and safety of our clients and staff. We are taking extra precautions to meet or exceed all of the requirements as mandated by the province of Alberta.

We are:

  • Online booking is available, however, at present we are allowing online advance bookings up to two months in advance. You may also book an appointment, by email, text or telephone.

Email: indulgence.massages@gmail.com

Text or call: 780-445-9814

  • Limiting the number of people within the clinic.

  • Please do not have friends or family wait for you while you are receiving a massage.

  • Staggering appointment times to reduce people within the waiting area and hallway.

  • Screening all clients, staff, and practitioners prior to and upon arrival at the clinic.

  • Implementing all necessary PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for our staff and practitioners.

  • Sanitizing the treatment rooms after each appointment.

  • Sanitizing contact surfaces routinely.

  • Only offering 60 minute massages due to changes in scheduling and increased time needed for sanitization.

  • Not providing Hot Stone Massages Treatments at this time.

  • Couple Massages are possible, however, they will not take place in the same room.

We will return to our regular routines as soon as it is determined that we are safe to do so.

NOTE: We are happy to let you know that we have resumed offering Cupping Therapy and Ninety Minute Massages for your wellness needs as of September 2020.

WHAT WILL CHANGE WITH YOUR APPOINTMENT?

  • Our doors will be locked however with the colder temperatures, please note the following change: Please text us from your car upon arrival, we will then text you when it is time for you to enter the clinic.

  • You will be wearing a mask upon entering the clinic. We can provide one for you if you don't have your own. **It is necessary that you wear the mask for your entire visit**

  • You will sanitize your hands with the disinfectant provided at the front desk as soon as you enter.

  • We will be checking your temperature when you arrive.

  • There will be a short COVID-19 questionnaire that must be read and signed.

  • Your therapist will be wearing a mask and apron that will be changed/sanitized after each treatment.

  • Options of essential oils will be limited.

  • We cannot provide water at this time and so if you wish, please bring your own water bottle.

HOW WILL OUR CLINIC LOOK DIFFERENT?

  • We will not offer magazines, beverages or sweets during the pandemic to minimize risks.

  • Towels and lotion will no longer be available in our restroom but instead will be provided to you at the front desk.

  • Our massage tables and pillows will have different coverings for more effective barriers, so they may not be as “quiet” or soft.

  • Items not deemed necessary will be removed from the treatments rooms to increase sanitization efficiency.

METHOD OF PAYMENT

  • To streamline the payment process, we ask that Direct Billing, MasterCard, Visa, or Debit be used for transactions.

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring their health benefit provider is up to date. Please ensure you confirm with your benefit provider at least a day before your scheduled appoint to avoid paying out of pocket.

  • NOTE: Sometimes when processing Direct Billing, payment is sometimes denied with a “Pending Notice the day of the appointment. Under these circumstances, the client shall pay the clinic in full. The clinic will provide you an invoice so that the client may submit for reimbursement.

PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE

In an effort to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 we require that you cancel your appointment if you:

  • have any symptoms such as a cough, sore throat, or fever.

  • have traveled within the last 14 days

  • suspect or have had direct contact with anyone who is sick

  • been in contact with someone that has traveled within the last 14 days.

To accommodate for space limitations and physical distancing requirements, we must schedule fewer daily appointments. Therefore, if you must cancel your appointment, we ask that you notify us as soon as possible so that we may contact another client needing our services.

In addition to staggering our appointments to avoid heavy traffic in the front entrance, we also ask your cooperation to minimize activity such as looking up insurance benefits and re-booking appointments in person. Instead, please email, telephone or text us to schedule your future appointments and make inquiries. This will go a long way to helping us maintain physical distancing between clients who are arriving and departing.

Thank you so much, we sincerely appreciate your mindful efforts to keep our community safe and thriving.

We are ever so grateful for your continued support and we remain faithfully committed to your ongoing wellness.
